Rector – Fr. Thomas Wirth
Father Tom Wirth is a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He has served St. John’s Anglican Catholic Church for the past 15 years. Fr. Wirth received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from UW Milwaukee and attended Holyrood Seminary in New York where he received a Certificate of Ministry in 1986. In addition to his ministry at St. John’s, Fr. Wirth also teaches in the Milwaukee Public School System.
He is currently working toward earning a graduate degree in Exceptional Education. Before serving St. John’s Church, Father Wirth served as Vicar to several parishes across southern Michigan including St. Patrick’s Kalamazoo, St. Matthias Hastings, and Epiphany Howell. He also served as Rector of the Church of the Holy Trinity in Peru, Indiana. In his spare time, he enjoys gardening, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Assisting – Fr. Paul Dicks
Fr. Paul Dicks is a native of Iowa. He has served St. John’s Anglican Catholic Church for 10 years. He received a Bachelor of Art Degree from Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa. He also receive a Bachelor of Divinity Degree from the Episcopal Theological School in Cambridge, MA. Father Dicks was ordained in the Episcopal Church in 1962 and has served parishes in Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin.
He was received by the Anglican Catholic Church in 2001. He currently serves on the Diocesan Commission on Holy Orders. In his spare time he enjoys working in the yard, reading, traveling and spending time with wife, Christine and their family and friends.
